Student Ambassadors
AHS Student Ambassadors
The Atchison High School Student Ambassadors is a select organization of students implementing goals for improving school climate and school spirit.  Students selected to this organization must be nominated by teachers, voted on by students and approved by administration.  Student Ambassadors began in 2014 and has grown from a small group to a sizable group of 40-50 students.

Ambassador activities include many efforts to improve school climate.  Students run the Snack Shack, mentor freshman through student advisories, serve as guides for community visitors, new students and Freshman orientation. The ambassadors also sponsor one sophomore each year to the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program. Through these activities, students connect with the community and school.  Students attend a leadership workshop at the beginning of the year.
